Honest opinion

First game in a long time that’s enjoyable and has zero forced ads. The game play is easy to pick up and you hardly run out of energy to play levels. The difficulty ramps up at a pretty normal pace, however the only issue with difficulty is bosses just get more health and have almost unavoidable moves. I see a lot of people griping about having to pay but honestly I haven’t had to give one dime and I’m already more than halfway through the second world. Going back and playing on hard mode gives tons of gems to level your ship up. Only thing I have a common problem with is the gold currency. It serves almost zero purpose in the grand scheme of the game. However if you just want a good game with no ads to pass the time I recommend.

Good game just needs a bit of tweaking

I’ve had the game for about 3 days now and I just wanna say it’s amazing. I love the space invaders style of games a lot. I also love that there are different ships and stuff with unique abilities to help you with harder levels and bosses. Another thing that I rarely ever see any more in games is that there isn’t any forced ads. Of course there still are ads but you don’t need to watch them they’ll just help you get stuff to give you a little boost.

However I would give 5 stars but the game just has such high prices for new ships and that. Especially just starting the game you’ll get all these blueprints for ships you don’t even have. Also the premium subscription I personally don’t mind but 20$ every 30 days is a little high maybe like 5$-10$ I’d be fine with. Lastly the ads. I know I said there’s no forced ads but there still are ads. 2 ships at the time of this review you need to watch ads to unlock. One ship you have to watch like 30-40 ads to unlock it and the other ship is 80 ads to unlock. Now from what I can tell getting the premium thing will remove these ads but for the players who don’t wanna spend money. They are gonna have to watch a lot of ads just to unlock a ship.

All in all though the games a lot of fun. Even though it’s kinda difficult to unlock new ships and stuff it’s not impossible and you don’t need to purchase anything to get to the top as far as I can tell at the moment.

Excellent Game, But Glitchy Ads

I thoroughly loved the old Galaga arcade game and this is a beautiful reboot. Really like the idea of collecting and upgrading my arsenal, as well as the single player and multi-player modes. It is still a work in progress and I look forward to updates, especially in the guilds. Currently there’s no way to open your guild to a specific player, but hopefully this will be considered in future updates. A tutorial or user guide would be useful for new players, but I appreciate the way support is usually responsive and helpful. My only serious complaint is the way the video ads frequently cause glitches and freezes. Ads are not required to play, but when you are offered an extra life or double rewards for watching a video and the blasted thing freezes the game or repeatedly tells you, “The video not available” it causes a lot of frustration. This always seems to happen when the rewards at stake are highest and I don’t appreciate being gypped. Really hoping this issue is addressed.
