1. So I just discovered this app a couple of weeks ago by accident. I was on Snapchat and flipping through stories, laying in bed, eating some ice cream and there’s all the ads in between and that’s when I found it. I actually at first clicked to the next story, trying to skip the ad, then I saw the magic word FREE. I went back and I found the most beautiful, magical, out of this world fitness app. I watched the ad then clicked on it following it to the Apple store. I NEEDED to read the reviews to see if it was true. Was this app actually FREE with no extra special add ons or just a one week free trial? And the answer was YES! It’s is 100% completely free. So I frantically downloaded it to start skimming the app and my eyes could not believe what they were seeing. There’s unlimited options of workouts, from yoga to strengthening to pre and postnatal workouts. There’s numerous trainers to choose from! You can do different challenges on the app, invite friends, take progress photos, etc. And a lot of the workouts are quick, but challenging making you wonder why you ever say you don’t have time to workout. You can do quick morning or evening routines that will even send reminders at whatever time you want. To then top off this amazing app, when you open it there’s cute little quotes that pop up on the screen to make your day that much better. Thank you so much! Coming from a poor, out of shape new grad please don’t change this app!
2. Hands down this is the absolute best, free fitness app out there! FitOn is what I always wished I could find in a fitness app: the freedom to get in shape at home on my time frame. With 5 children my life is crazy busy and my health has taken a hit. I have tried the gym (you need a sitter and drive time plus the membership fees), jogging outside daily (I developed a hip that continues to pop out of socket), exercise videos (snore, bored after 4-5 run through of the same thing), other apps out there are either expensive or only provide short video clips of moves. I LOVE how I feel like I am in an actual one-on-one training session with an honest to goodness knowledgeable trainer! I love being able to pick workout videos from a variety of intensities and genres (goodbye boredom). The app provides a daily motivational quote. You can take pictures of yourself to document your journey and share them (or not). You receive badges for completing a certain number of workouts. You can also join challenges that tell you which workouts to complete during the week. I find the whole app to be completely motivating and delightful. I look forward to working out and have already noticed a change in my fitness, stamina and appearance after only a month. Thank you FitOn for helping me make my life healthier on my terms!!!
