User Reviews :

After a week of the daily videos ( seem to be 3-10 minutes long, but often closer to 5 minutes) I’ve already gained some insights into fashion photography, techniques and challenges faced by photographers – not just about making money, or the latest technology but about why people have taken up photography. Looking forward to this daily short break in routine at a time of day that suits me.

Great, but possible to change Notification time?

This app is fantastic, and fits the lifestyle of busy creatives. One thing is that I watched my first video at nearly midnight, and now I’m getting the notification at the same time, which doesn’t work out well during the week. Is it possible to change the time the push notification is sent? Cheers

Developer Response ,

Cevan, the notification time will automatically be adjusted to the last time you used the app. So simply keep using it 🙂

I really enjoyed this app when it first came out. Even the subjects that I wasn’t interested in were worth a 3-5 minute look. But lately the daily videos have either been repeats (I just watched the John Keatley studio tour for the third time) or have been short snippets that made absolutely no sense as if someone chose a random 30 seconds from a random video. Since the app really pushes the daily participation and tracks the consecutive days you watch, it’s confounding why they don’t better curate their content offerings.

I’ve only participated for two days so far, but this seems like a great app for anyone who has not had a formal introduction to photography and been learning in an ad hoc fashion. So far, I have learned a couple of things, but the explanations were better than when I learned about lighting and cropping.

CreativeLive is known for its great photography courses, and this app is no exception. I downloaded it when they introduced it but didn’t start watching the videos until yesterday and I wish I’d begun sooner! They are clear, concise, and very practical. I’m going to make it a point to watch them daily. Great idea and great app.

Great way to improve my photography. I don’t watch every day but probably tune in 3-4 times a week and get a short little tutorial. They’re just long enough to get good info and short enough to be bite sized. Really enjoying it.

This app is my dream come true. I just started learning photography and looking for some free resource that I can get started very quickly. This also fits my busy life style perfectly. 5 min a day what a great idea

I’m enjoying these helpful videos. I love that they are short enough that I can always find a time to watch. In fact, I am sure I will watch most of them twice. Thanks.

I love spending a few minutes everyday to improve my photography skills! Thanks!
