Unique and quirky in a fun way.
There’s not really a game like Sticky Terms on the market. In fact, it’s difficult to call it a game at all. It’s almost like a curiously satisfying learning experience. What are you learning? The meaning of words like “chutzpa,” “eshaku,” and my personal favorite, “agiyag zockni.” Yes, these words are foreign (and real), but don’t bother putting them through a translator. You see, Sticky Terms is a game about words that people across the world use every day, but that have no sensible translation. To discover the meaning of these phrases, you must piece them together out of odd clusters of lines and curves. Boring? It might sound that way. But there’s something inexplicably satisfying about hearing them snap into place. And gaining a little knowledge in a lighthearted way like this is as sweet a reward as it gets.
Charming Puzzle Game
Within 24 hours of installing, I finished it. Not because it was particularly easy or anything but because it was addictive. The difficulty varies for them and you need to watch ads to unlock packs but it’s a relatively small amount especially for the content you get. Maybe 25 or less 30-second ads at most but you get plenty of gameplay and that’s it. There were a couple ads for other games by this developer that seemed similarly clever to this one. They cost money but if they give me an experience similar to Sticky Terms I’ll definitely grab those when I get the chance. There really isn’t a reason not to get it. Fargin
Entertaining!
This game is amazing! I spent the weekend to finish it and I have to say it was sooooo worth it! The words are random, hilarious, and I will definitely add a few to my vocabulary (if I can remember them, that is)!
I didn’t quite see the point of the colorblind mode, though. Maybe the colors were there to help you, but I didn’t realize that until I was almost done with the game. Speaking of that, let’s add some more levels! >:3 I know there are a ton of funny words out there, so an extension would be sweet!
Thanks for making this game, I highly recommend this to anyone who’s bored and needs something to amuse them!
Most Creative Game I’ve Seen in a Long Time!
I am one of those people who get bored with the games on my phone quickly. I’ll download it, play it a few times, and then delete it. This game has been the complete opposite. It’s creative and a great little challenge for my brain without being so difficult. Plus I get to learn a bit about other languages which I think is great. I hope more levels are released soon!
A neat little game with some issues.
Overall, it’s a pretty fun little game, but every so often you get a word that has an overly precise “hit box” for lack of a better term. You get the words together for the most part but you can’t finish the level until you get the last part in EXACTLY the right place. I’ve had the app on my phone for a day and I ve already had to look up walkthroughs twice l, thinking I must be missing something, only to discover I’d already solved it, I just hadn’t put something in the precisely right place.
I need more!
I didn’t think I would like this game. I was wrong. This game is a magical puzzle game full of hilarious words! I finished the game very quickly, and am eagerly awaiting new levels. I love the creative ways each level is set up! I’d love to see some new features though. Please consider getting this game, you won’t be disappointed. (Until you beat it)
Entertaining
I just got this game and am finding it very entertaining! The only suggestion I have thus far is that it should include the pronunciation of the words when you complete the level. Either a button to hit to hear it pronounced or at the very least the pronunciation spelled out under the definition as it would be in the dictionary. That would make these new entertaining words more useful additions to your vocabulary
So much simple fun.
It’s such a simple game but absolutely wonderful! The puzzle aspect is very satisfying to solve. It’s somewhat educational, and can be very funny as most of these words and phrases are rather odd or very specific. I only wished there were more! Also a huge plus: you can play every level without spending money (by watching video ads.)
Fun but short
The game was really fun. Learning new words and phrases from other languages while also engaging in complex shape combinations created an interesting experience. However, due to the limitations of the system, it only has 150 levels which could easily be completed in a matter of hours. Still a great game.
