Needs to say letter sounds
I was excited to get this game to help my preschooler with letter recognition as advertised, but it just help with matching the letter to the one on the screen.
I would love to see it say the letter name when placed on the board, and then say the letter sounds and read the word together once it is complete.
The monster part should be able to say the word as well.

One major error.
One major error, that I am hoping can be fixed in an update. At this point the the child is asked to spell a word but it is not read to them if needed or if they successfully built the word. This means that a child can be adept at finding the letters but not know how to read the words. Thus the game becomes one of letter recognition not reading/spelling.
The same is true when they must fight the monsters. They need to have the ability to tap the letter for sounds, so they can see if the letters will make a word and have the word read to them if they are successful. This could be an option that can be turned off for more advanced students.
I bought the two games combo and found them to be an odd combo to put together. The math game is appropriate for preschool and beginning kindergarten and the the reading game is more appropriate for end of first or second grade. Neither work well in my end of the year kindergarten class. I am disappointed that I spent $15 for the two games but I was so excited to see they were coming out with new games that use tiles that I already have.
Please work on an update to add a read to option to the words. It would make this game exceptional as a reading center option in the classroom.
