User Reviews :

Wonderful effort from East Side Games to make an addictive portable wrestling game.

As much as it pains me to say this, I’m enjoying this game far more than I have AEW Fight Forever when comparing equal time spent on each game. Don’t take that as a knock to AEWFF, Yuke’s or THQ, though. I actually consider it a compliment to what the team at East Side Games has been able to do with AEW Rise to the Top in such little time. I have high hopes for both this game and AEWFF, as well as their other projects, in the future. Thank you for offering wrestling fans a mainstream alternative with your product, TK! Your efforts haven’t gone unnoticed by so many lifelong wrestling fans such as myself.

Fun, Possible to Win with Careful Planning

Edit:

Pros: They fixed the Ads Malfunction that would rob rewards; variety of wrestlers; the interface is functioning/looks great while offering different games.

It is possible to win without breaking the bank. On the PVP side, you have to save your Gems from Mondays and Tuesday to Thursday play. This way you can splurge to win on the weekend play.

Cons: The main game tends to get stuck where you need to contact tech support to advance you to the next episode.

Previous review:

I enjoy the game. It is like all the other ‘pay to play’ games. I indulged a little bit (I don’t with other games). You can win currencies by careful planning. I would like to see something where you can boost up ‘Rare’ wrestlers to be powerhouses against the ‘Epic’ wrestlers. It is like the only way to win the PVP Arena. I find myself using the same 3-5 Legendary and Epic Wrestlers. Recently, the ads have been malfunctioning. After the ad plays and says Reward Granted, nothing happens. Clicking on the X doesn’t work; rather it allows the user to select text. This doesn’t happen with the ads for the King that keeps getting into trouble.

Woah Nelly

I am an AEW fan. I enjoy the effort they put into the gameplay, where you build up your favorite wrestlers and follow some storylines and fight pvp. There are ads, but they’re not as bad as other games that have made me un-download them. The part that bothers me, however, is how much they’re charging for wrestler/upgrade packs and the backstage pass!!! I’m the kind of person to spend $1-5 at a time on games I like, and asking over $50 for some legendary wrestler cards is insulting. I would even be interested in the backstage pass if it wasn’t $20! I think y’all should lower your prices so that your fans can get more out of the game that they desire, and will stay loyal enough to play for a long time….

Features don’t work on iPad pro

I want to enjoy. But this game is not completely compatible with iPad pros. The game seems zoomed in it cuts off cut scene text so I can’t read what is being posted. Also in the new in game event I can’t even select cards to make a complete team. Nothing scrolls to different areas. Needs fixed asap. I enjoy the game, but I’m frustrated I can’t even participate in special events due to bug in game. I would love to leave a 5 star review once this is fixed.

Edit issue was fixed. I can now enjoy the whole game.

Fun gotcha game

The game is fun. Looking forward to more in the future from it. Its 100% a gotcha game (throw as much money as possible to do better) but it can still be fine as of now as ftp. One issue I keep seeing with it is at times it just will not load content after connecting to server. Something to look into.

There needs to be more added for a reason to actually play the game vs set up and check later. Yes I understand it’s a idle game but there also has to be some perk for idling with the game open vs just set up auto and log out to check later. Where it be things running slightly faster or something anything really that benifits anyone whom chooses to actually be in the game playing and not set up and log out.
