Game Features :
Typeshift is the modern anagram puzzle; re-imagined from the ground up, combining wordplay, modern game design, and a mobile-first approach.
In most anagram games, you search for new combinations within a single word, but in Typeshift, you search within three to five words stacked & scrambled up together.
Shift columns of letters up and down as you try to spell words in the center row. Play continues until you have used all letters in a puzzle at least once.
Special Clue Puzzles combine Crosswords with Anagrams as you match clever clues provided by Typeshift’s various puzzle authors.
Daily Word Game Play with Global Leaderboards
Typeshift features a free daily challenge with global leaderboards. The easiest challenge for the week appears on Monday, and progressively more challenging puzzles build throughout the week.

Super fun, but….
This is almost a 5-star app.
Pros: The puzzles are fun and challenging. It’s a unique word game with many levels from super simple to massively hard. Once you get the hang of it, it can be addicting. If you like word games, this one is definitely worth getting.
Cons: I would like the app better if it had more clue puzzles and the letters on the non-clue puzzles dropped off when they were no longer needed like in the clue puzzles. Also, when I’m stuck on a puzzle, I’ll go to the next puzzle and then come back, but I lose all the progress of the puzzle I’m on. With these minor fixes, I’d give it 5 stars. However, even with these small bothers, I highly recommend it to word game and crossword aficionados.

The developer definitely was a bit greedy. The game is set up as a way to get the player to buy IAP to unlock more levels as more than 95% of the game is locked behind Payable “level packs” it would have been so much better for this game to cost, let’s say, $4 with more levels unlocked to the player. It seems like a cash grab and is kinda sad because this developer could come to mind as a quality developer if they weren’t so obviously trying to get the player to buy into the game once it’s installed and not before.
Annoying ads
I’ve been enjoying the game, but recently these intrusive, annoying ads that promise a $1000 gift card are diffusing some of the enjoyment. First of all, I do not seem to be able to see the definitions anymore. If I try, one of these ads appears, and the only option is “OK”. There’s no way back to the definition page. Furthermore, the ad seems to promise $1000 gift card for answering a few questions or picking the right box (hint: you always get it right on the third try). If you read a little further, the “too good to be true” reveals itself as a commitment to buy…that’s as far as I got before I got disgusted by the deception. It wouldn’t be so bad if you could close the ad, but I haven’t found a way to do so.
