Some improvements

This is a solid start. I especially love the events. A few ideas:

This needs to be iPad native

There’s no good reason the articles in the Articles tab shouldn’t just display natively in the app instead of going out to a browser. This is a bad decision

For events, it would be great to see richer coverage. For example, when clicking on an event, we should see all stories associated with that event. For earnings calls, there should be a link to a livestream (and then the follow-up article).

One quibble…since the app does more than just Top 10 it would be nice to see its name and icon changed to just The Information

Excited to see how this grows!

Reading in a browser is better

While The Information articles are top notch, when the reading experience on a browser is better than the reading experience in your native app then you’ve got a problem. This app loses formatting from the original article, doesn’t have the option to bookmark articles for later (or offline reading for that matter) and is missing all kinds of functionality like a native video player or account management. Please add some of these features that already exist in the browser!

Incredible app – Exactly what we need!

I love the new Tech Top 10 app from The Information. It’s hugely time-saving and v easy to use. Seeing top stories quickly, being able to figure out quickly if the stories are for me, having instant access to the expanding calendar, and being able to quickly scan what is new by my favorite writers. Like everything The Information takes on – this is A+.

My replacement for TechCrunch

Love the new app interface. The Information, and NYTimes are examples of what the media industry can do if they just understand tech well. They don’t need Apple, google or fb news and can survive well on their own. Brilliant experience and content. This will replace my TechCrunch app which has recently been full of clickbait articles.

But, why can’t I save/read later articles?
