To be used as a reference
Having travelled to over a dozen countries and spoken to both expats and locals alike I find the guidelines listed by this app to be a decent reference point but not 100% accurate. Tipping is a hot topic even in the States and by no means is there a set standard for it. For example, I was taught to always tip a dollar or two for the cleaning maids at hotels (leave tip on bed or nightstand) but that is excluded by this app.
Incredibly relevant
As someone who has traveled the world and (probably) offended many people by my too large or too small tips, this app is something I wish I had had a decade ago. The free countries are great, but the in app purchases are well priced as well. This is a ‘must have’ app for anyone who is leaving their home country.
Good app for travelers
I start using this app when ever I go out for lunch or use cabs. After seeing this app I know that I am paying more tip in barbershop. Good one for all travelers.
One star reduced because the cost for buying each country is .99$ and I am looking for India which is not in the list. In India the tip system is started recently so I want to know how much they are expecting.
Pretty useful
This app is good for travelers who would like to travel without wifi. Most of the information provided can be easily google searched but if you’re in a different country without wifi, this app can have you covered
Great app for people traveling
Tipping is always confusing even if you’re in your home county this app answers how much to tip in many well traveled countries. It’s great having this info right at your fingertips no need to search the app opens right up
Convenient but overpriced
Love this app, but it’s not worth money; I can achieve the same result with the same amount of foresight as downloading this app before a trip requires and just use Google. Besides, I get cheap cell service in 135 countries from my carrier, so I don’t really need the whole offline thing.

There are many touch points when it comes to exchanging money on trips. This was easy to use and my trusted guide for restaurant, bar and hotel tipping while on vacation. Keep up the solid work!
Super useful
My dad always said “tip early and tip often”. This app is perfect. Written in a friendly style, has all the information you need for traveling. Great if traveling through Europe or Asia. Worked every time.
Very useful and nicely designed!
This is definitely a very useful app especially if you travel a lot and are as clueless about tipping in any non-restaurant situation such a barber or the guy who carries you luggage! Also nice design and easy navigation.
