Great Tuesday

Ordered the meal online, person who the call was very helpful and assured the food would be ready at 5:00. Upon checking I saw I had a reward available, which I showed to Fletcher at our Red Lobster, he immediately went back and made sure the shrimp were included with the order. While completing the payment with Gift Cards, the food was brought out. Everyone was so friendly & helpful, especially Fletcher. He is one Great Representative for Red Lobster.

Seemingly behind other restaurant apps

It’s crazy that in 2021 you can’t create orders within the app. The rewards part of the app has nice aspects to it – like being able to scan a missed receipt is seamless; other parts like the actual awards have taken a step backwards. The problem with choosing the rewards I can choose from and then also limiting it to three – it creates a scenario where the reward no longer matters as if it’s not something that interests me, the rewards aspect of the app becomes irrelevant, as no ones racing to rack up points that they can’t spend. If you are going to do this, the better implementation of this was how Chick Fil A earlier on would use your purchase history to determine the rewards. Then it made sense because it’s something you’ve purchased in the past. The check in aspect of ordering should also be baked into the app. The text messaging often times doesn’t work at restaurants. It’s almost always faster to walk in and get your order. The “offers” section needs to be renamed. There’s never offers there it’s more like messages – where you’re trying to tell me what’s new but offers kind of implies a deal of sorts and everything I’ve seen is at menu price.

Good food, Terrible reward system.

Through the whole time me and my husband dated up until the first two years of our marriage we came here for our dates like every other week and we’ve just now gotten our reward because the system is so sketchy, and their points expire in no time apparently. After all that wait the reward is so disappointing you have to choose between one specific dessert of two appetizers and if you don’t like any of those 3 options (like us) it’s useless. They won’t even let you swap it out for something of equal value. At Outback Steakhouse they give you 50 % off (max of $20) every 4th visit. Now they appreciate their customers lol. Please do something better for us

Red lobster is our favorite.

We have done a lot of take out in the last year. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is how we ordered. We have been frustrated though with trouble getting our points. Out of about 12 trips only 3 of them scanned. If I took the time to send a message with the info I would get my points but at least 5 times I forgot or lost my receipt with the info so I lost out on those points and rewards!!

Last night, was our first time eating in for a long time. Our server Kiera was awesome and the food was great!
