Important notifications and reminders regarding maintenance and care will be sent to you automatically. And even if things don’t go to plan: use the support section to contact customer service or find helpful videos and articles.
Voice-control your appliances via Amazon Alexa, or Google Home
Whether it’s making coffee, preheating the oven, or starting the washing machine: Use your voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Home will take care of the rest. What’s more, you can use predefined or individual routines for recurring tasks to orchestrate your smart home, like having your coffee made at the same time each day.
Finding the best program and other little helpers
Dishwasher, dryer, or oven – depending on the appliance and task at hand, you will be recommended the ideal program and settings, whether it’s a pile of dirty dishes, a load of laundry, or the cheesecake recipe for your next family reunion. Based on your feedback, programs can even improve over time to better fit your needs. And with a Coffee Playlist you can conveniently fulfil your guests’ coffee requests to match that cheesecake.
Never run out on dishwasher tabs, or other consumables
Home Connect gives you access to features that track your supply so you will never have to think about it again. Even better, connect to Amazon Alexa and its smart reordering service for your dishwasher tabs or fridge filters so they are reordered on demand before you need them.

Absolutely. All connections to Home Connect and our partners use TLS, a cryptographic protocol ensuring data transfer security. Additionally, each version of the Home Connect app is certified by TÜV TRUST IT (Austria).

Mostly works but some areas need polish
Once you’ve got an appliance linked, things tend to work pretty well. It can be a little opaque right up until you’re finally able to make it happen.
The app itself it reasonable, but there is one specific area that lacks polish: Appliance Information. This is vital information that is difficult to transcribe, so why can’t I select and copy the serial number, model number, or anything useful on this page? Moreover, why does starting a Support case not automatically populate the form with data from Appliance Information?
These limitations created an awkward experience today while trying to start a support case for a hardware defect: I needed to fill out a form in the app that required multiple pieces of information that were available from Appliance Information, but the only way to fill it out was to write all of that complex information down on a piece of paper, then type it into the form. It seems like it could’ve just auto-populated, but maybe the developer just hasn’t gotten to it yet?
